I’m Danilo Garcia, LMFT, PPSC, CCP, a compassionate and results-driven Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience serving individuals, couples, families, and adolescents in clinical, school-based, and telehealth settings. I integrate evidence-based care—such as CBT, trauma-informed therapy, and motivational interviewing—with a Christian, faith-centered understanding of healing, resilience, and relationship.

My background includes working in private practice, medical and behavioral health settings, and Title I schools, where I’ve supported clients facing anxiety, depression, relational conflict, chronic health challenges, and complex life transitions. I’m committed to culturally responsive care and creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where your story is honored and your goals guide the work.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who do you work with?
I primarily work with adolescents and adults who are navigating stress, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and significant life transitions.

What are your specialties?
My main areas of focus include anxiety & stress management, depression & mood disorders, faith-integrated Christian counseling, relationship and family conflict, trauma-informed support, and life transitions and identity development.

Do you accept insurance?
Yes. I accept both private insurance and private pay. I am in network with Optum (including UnitedHealthcare, Oscar, and Oxford), Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Ascension, Blue Shield of California, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Texas. For other plans, I can provide a superbill you may submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Do you integrate Christian faith into therapy?
Yes. For clients who desire it, I integrate Christian faith, Scripture, and spiritual practices into the therapeutic process while also using evidence-based clinical approaches. If you prefer not to include faith, therapy will remain fully respectful of your values and preferences.

Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. I offer secure telehealth sessions for clients located in Texas, California, and Washington. In-person appointments are not available at this time.

Is this the right fit for my teen?
If your adolescent is experiencing anxiety, depression, school stress, identity questions, or faith-related concerns, therapy can provide a safe space to process emotions, learn coping skills, and improve communication with family.

Do you provide crisis services?
No. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. The online scheduler and contact form are not for emergencies.
